Our Installation Process

Getting a CBU installed is simple when you work with us:


1. USPS Approval

- Before ordering, your local postmaster must approve the mailbox location.

- This ensures the site is accessible and compliant.


2. Order & Delivery

- Place your order online.

- Your CBU ships directly to you.


3. Scheduling Installation

- As soon as it ships, we contact you to schedule installation.

- If old units need removal, we can provide that service (haul-away not included).


4. Site Preparation

- A level, fully cured concrete pad is required for installation.

- We anchor the unit using either wedge anchors (for existing pads) or J-bolts (if they were installed when the concrete was poured).


5. USPS Activation

- Once installed, contact your local USPS so they can install their master lock and activate the unit for service.
