Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase and use of products and services from The Mailbox Pros (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order, scheduling services, or otherwise engaging with The Mailbox Pros, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms.


1. Agreement Scope

These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and The Mailbox Pros. They apply to all sales of products and services, including residential and commercial purchases, installations, removals, and related services. Vendors and manufacturers are independent third parties responsible for their own warranties and obligations. Installers and subcontractors engaged for installation or removal services are independent contractors, not employees or agents of The Mailbox Pros. We disclaim liability for their acts, omissions, or workmanship except as expressly stated in these Terms.


2. Definitions

“Products” means mailboxes, posts, accessories, and related goods sold by The Mailbox Pros. “Services” means installation, removal, disposal, consulting, and related offerings. “Customer” means any purchaser of products or services from The Mailbox Pros. “Vendor/Manufacturer” means third-party suppliers that produce or ship products. “Installer/Subcontractor” means independent service providers engaged for installation or removal.


3. Orders, Product Selection & Customer Responsibilities

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that the selected products, including style, size, finish, and type, are suitable for the intended location and use. This includes verifying site measurements, compatibility with existing conditions such as concrete pads or soil conditions, and compliance with USPS, HOA, or municipal requirements. Errors, omissions, or misrepresentations in customer-provided details are solely the customer’s responsibility and do not entitle the customer to refunds or exchanges. The Mailbox Pros is not responsible for USPS or local authority approvals. Customers must obtain approval from their local postmaster or authority before installation.


4. Payments & Late Fees

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment terms are as follows. Projects under $500 require payment within 48 hours of invoice or scheduling. Projects $500 or more require payment within 5 business days of invoice or scheduling. Late payments will incur fees to the maximum extent permitted by law, including but not limited to 5% of the outstanding balance immediately upon delinquency, plus 1% per week thereafter until paid in full. Customers are responsible for all costs of collection, including attorney’s fees, court costs, and collection agency fees.


5. Shipping & Delivery

Products are shipped directly from vendors or manufacturers. Title and risk of loss transfer to the customer once the product is handed to the shipping carrier. The Mailbox Pros is not liable for shipping delays, damage in transit, lost packages, or delivery errors. Estimated delivery dates are provided for convenience only and are not guaranteed. Customers must inspect shipments upon delivery and report damages or shortages directly to the carrier and/or vendor.


6. Products & Warranties

The Mailbox Pros does not manufacture products and provides no warranties beyond those offered by the applicable vendor or manufacturer. Product warranties are governed solely by the vendor or manufacturer and may vary. Customers should review vendor warranty terms before purchase. The Mailbox Pros expressly disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent allowed by law.


7. Installation & Removal Services

Installation and removal services are performed by independent subcontractors. The Mailbox Pros is not responsible for delays, property damage, injuries, or workmanship caused by subcontractors. Customers are responsible for obtaining USPS, HOA, and municipal approvals before installation, ensuring underground utilities are properly marked before work begins, and providing a safe, accessible job site. If on-site conditions prevent completion, including incorrect product selection, unmarked utilities, or unsuitable surfaces, The Mailbox Pros is not obligated to refund installation fees. Prepaid installation services not used by the customer are non-refundable. Installation workmanship warranty is limited to one year from completion and determined solely by The Mailbox Pros.


8. Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations

All sales are final. Mailboxes and most related products are non-returnable. Posts may be returnable at the sole discretion of The Mailbox Pros, subject to restocking fees, handling fees, and customer-paid return shipping. Custom orders are strictly non-refundable. Installation and removal services are non-refundable once scheduled or performed. Cancellations after processing may incur restocking or service fees at our discretion.


9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Mailbox Pros is not liable for shipping delays or damages, product defects covered by vendor or manufacturer warranties, installer errors, omissions, or property damage, losses caused by unmarked utilities, site conditions, or lack of approvals, or any consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages. The total liability of The Mailbox Pros for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.


10. Indemnification

Customers agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Mailbox Pros, its owners, employees, affiliates, and subcontractors from and against all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including attorney’s fees, arising from the customer’s breach of these Terms, failure to obtain approvals or permits, inaccurate or incomplete order information, unsafe site conditions or failure to mark utilities, or negligence, misuse, or non-compliance.


11. Intellectual Property

All content, images, trademarks, and materials on The Mailbox Pros website are the exclusive property of The Mailbox Pros and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission.


12. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration in Michigan. Customers waive the right to participate in class actions or collective proceedings.


13. Force Majeure

The Mailbox Pros shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, labor strikes, supply chain disruptions, acts of war, terrorism, or governmental actions.


14. Changes to Terms

The Mailbox Pros reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Updates will be posted on this page with the “Effective Date” updated. Continued use of our products or services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
